My Computer Keeps Randomly Turning Itself Off

Computers that randomly shut down / turn off are actually extremely common throughout the World. This problem can be caused by a series of errors / issues inside your system, which will cause it to just shut down & restart, making it vital that you're able to repair these issues to keep your system in tip-top shape. Here's what you need to do...

There are a number of reasons why computers will just shut down. This problem is not a specific issue, but is the result of either a hardware failure, or some sort of software problem on your computer. To ensure your system can be fixed in the most reliable and effective way possible, you first need to look at fixing the various common hardware issues that can cause the shut downs, then repair any damaged file settings and finally clean out the 'registry' of your PC.

One of the most common reasons why computers will shut down is because some of the hardware components on your PC are either incompatible or damaged. If you have just installed a new hardware component, or have inserted a USB drive into your PC, then you need to remove them immediately as this could be causing the problem for your system. If you want to get your computer running as smoothly as possible again, you need to have hardware that functions correctly.

You also need to make sure your PC is not overheating. Not many people realize this, but computers often "overheat", and shut down. Just like a light bulb - computers run hot, and if they get too hot, the semiconductors inside will not be able to process the various commands you want. To ensure this is not a problem, a simple solution is to place a desk fan near your computer / laptop and let it blast cold air at it. If this stops the crashes, it suggests your PC is overheating and needs to be better cooled.

Apart from hardware issues, there's also a problem with the software of your PC - most notably the "registry" of Windows. The registry is a central database which stores vital settings & information for Windows, and is easily the most vital part of your entire system. The registry is being used continuously to help your computer read all the files, settings & options it needs to run, but because 100's of registry settings are open at once, Windows often gets confused about the files it has open, leading it to save many of them in the wrong way. This causes your PC to become slower & highly unreliable as it will take longer to read the files it needs to run. However, if so many registry settings are damaged, Windows will just give up and turn off. To fix this problem, you should use a "registry cleaner" program to fix any of the damaged registry settings your computer has inside.

In order to stop your PC turning off, you need to be able to fix the various hardware issues it might have, and then clean out the registry with a 'registry cleaner'. You can Click Here to stop your computer turning itself off.
